Hyper-personalized experiences are now a reality thanks to the amount of user data available. How do data and personalization factor into your daily routine?
I am a techie at heart (fun fact – I also have an IT degree) and love living in a super connected home. From my morning routine being kickstarted by my Google Home, to my lights flashing to let me know when my Uber has arrived, or even my phone telling me it’s time to leave the house if I don’t want to miss the bus – my daily routines are not only super connected, they are also hyper-personalized. It is the data about me and my routines that fuels this personalization, providing me with the best integration of technology into my life.

What technological daily routine rules your life now that didn’t 5 years ago?
Generally, my life is way more connected now than it was 5 years ago. A clear difference between then and now is the amount of voice-controlled automation that is prevalent throughout my day-to-day. As an example, 5 years ago I wasn’t even really using Siri and now you’d be hard pressed to find me turning on my TV or lights at home without voice command.
What advancements in the tech space do you hope to see in the near future?
Let’s keep it real – internet quality and speeds in Australia are pretty average. I’m excited to see how the introduction of 5G will increase speeds, decrease latency and generally provide better connectivity.
