Imagine you’re standing on 50 yard line of Mile High Stadium, right in the middle of everything. You’re deluged with information from every direction; the strange smell of the turf; the disorienting and incessant flickering of thousands of camera phones; the roar of the crowd – the cacophony of indistinguishable NFL fans.
Do you think you could focus amid all this chaos? Could you digest this torrent of data? Could you focus on the individual team colors? Could you describe what makes each team’s fans unique?
To celebrate football season, we directed our e-X Advertising Intelligence Platform to call up over 7,000 statistically significant characteristics of NFL fans. Our e-X platform consists of over two billion daily user events and a taxonomy of over 50,000 user attributes. After collecting this data, we proceed to calculate their likelihood to exhibit certain characteristics or behaviors compared to the overall internet population.
Finally, after unleashing our Insights team, a profile emerged — points of which we will share today:
Even if you are one of the 45% of Americans who don’t follow football, you’re still likely to find an NFL fan who shares a common interest. So for those of you who don’t know the difference between a cornerback and a wide receiver, yet still find yourselves at a game day party, we’ve compiled a handy guide.
Finally, imagine a more likely situation: it’s 8 pm, already dark outside, and you’re sitting alone in your office again – stumped. Your market is evolving; your customers are changing; you don’t know why or how to reach them.
We can help.
